Terms of Use
Effective October 18, 2026
These terms cover UnPull on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, and UnPull Premium. By using UnPull, you agree to them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies too.
What UnPull is, and isn’t
UnPull is a self-help app for adults who have chosen to stop watching porn. It offers a 90-second pause, Rescue, blocking, short lessons, check-ins, and Talk It Through.
UnPull isn’t medical, psychological, or crisis care. It doesn’t diagnose or treat any condition, and Talk It Through isn’t a therapist. If you might hurt yourself or someone else, call or text 988 in the US, call your local emergency number, or find a line near you at findahelpline.com.
Who it’s for
UnPull is meant for adults. Use it only if you’re old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
UnPull Premium
- What’s free. The 90-second pause, Rescue and the crisis lines, days steady and check-ins, Today’s anchor and the widgets, Safari’s filter and the Pause Page, App Lock, and iCloud backup are free. Premium adds blocking beyond Safari, Strict Mode, your own sites and words, Roots, Practice, Talk It Through, and your full progress.
- Plans. Premium comes as a weekly, monthly, or yearly plan. Prices are shown in UnPull and on the App Store before you buy, and vary by country.
- Payment. Apple sells Premium through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Free week. The yearly plan can start with a free week for eligible new subscribers. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the free week ends, the plan starts and you’re charged.
- Renewal. A plan renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before it.
- Canceling. Manage or cancel your plan in your Apple Account’s subscription settings: on iPhone and iPad, in Settings under your name; on a Mac, in the App Store under your account. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for, or the end of your free week.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Your devices. One plan covers UnPull on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac signed in with the same Apple Account.
- When a plan ends. Premium’s features stop, including blocking beyond Safari’s filter, and Strict Mode or a lockdown end with them. Safari’s filter and everything free stay. Your own sites and words are kept on your device for when you come back.
Blocking
UnPull’s blocking works through Apple’s Screen Time, Safari extensions, and, on the Mac, UnPull’s own filter, all on your device. No blocker catches everything: new sites appear, and blocking depends on settings that you and your device control. You choose what to block, and you can turn it off in UnPull or in your device’s settings, except while Strict Mode or a lockdown you started is running. Those can’t be ended early, by design, until they run out or your plan ends.
Your information
What you write and do in UnPull stays on your device, and in your own iCloud if you turn that on. The Privacy Policy explains it in full.
Using UnPull fairly
Use UnPull for yourself and within the law. Don’t copy, resell, or take apart the app, or try to get around how Premium is sold.
No guarantees
UnPull is provided as it is, to help, without promises that it will meet every need or work without interruption. To the extent the law allows, the developer isn’t liable for indirect or incidental losses from using UnPull, and Apple’s license agreement sets out the rest. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Using UnPull after that means you accept the change.
